Cuisine American
- 1/2 cup coconut flour may substitute for almond flour or oat flour
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp peanut butter may substitute for almond, sunflower seed, or cashew butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp water
In medium mixing bowl combine all ingredients (flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter, honey, and water) until dough is formed. You may need to add more water. Start with 2 tablespoons and increase by 1 tablespoon of water at a time as needed.
Form dough into 12 1-inch balls.
Place balls on parchment paper lined pan and chill for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
Once chilled, enjoy or place in airtight container in the fridge. Will last 5-7 days in the refrigerator.
Whey is the preferable protein type though any type may be used. Thorne Research Whey is one of my favorites. The water content may need to differ if not using whey protein.
Roll balls in mini chocolate chips, cocoa powder, or shredded coconut for added flavor.
